4-Speed Flow

Limited Warranty

3 Year / Lifetime

Built in Lancaster Pennsylvania, by highly skilled craftsman with decades of compact manure spreader building experience, these small manure spreaders are crafted for daily farm-use-conditions and made of the most durable components we know of. Materials such as grade-5 bolts, greaseable bearings, oil-impregnated bronze bushings, heavy-duty size 60 roller chain (nearly 1″ wide), T-Rod apron chain, and hardened sprockets ensure longevity. You can judge a muck spreaders materials and components quality by its overall unit weight, the heavier the better. The ABI manure spreader weighs nearly 1/3 more than equivalently sized competitors. Now that is tangible quality you can feel!

25, 50, & 65 cu ft – Ground Drive Levers

4-Speed Variable Flow Control

Unlike most competitors, all ABI Compact Manure Spreaders feature the ability to control the application flow rate of manure applied to the ground with four (4) different speeds. 4-speed flow control is accomplished by speeding up or slowing down the apron web that feeds manure to the back beaters in a variable ratio to ground speed. Having 4-speeds encourages an eco-balanced pasture by enabling a slow manure feed rate and a high beater spin rate for fine shredding and spreading. The speeds are adjusted via the front lever and enable the operator to either empty the manure as fast as possible or more slowly to apply a controlled rate of manure to maximize fertilizer value. Variable flow control also enables this spreader to handle a broader range of manure consistency to easily spread various livestock types, bedding materials, stages of decompositions, and weather, without causing damage or additional maintenance to the ground driven manure spreader.

25, 50, & 65 cu ft – Spreaders Beater Bars

Inline Shredding System - Shreds Before It Spreads

Unique to the industry, the ABI ground driven manure spreader for sale features an inline manure shredding system with 32 blades that shreds manure before spreading a finely pulverized manure application to the ground. Shredding before spreading exposes more manure surface to ultraviolet sunlight, which reduces parasites and allows it to decompose far more quickly. Owning an ABI compact manure spreader with an inline shredding system and 4-speed variable flow control enables the horse owner to help maintain an eco-balanced pasture. An eco-balanced pasture or paddock can help reduce colic, increase pasture turn efficiency rates, help produce more vigorous grass growth, and reduce odor & flies around the farm. Shredding before spreading is critical when spreading manure on pastures or paddock areas. This mini manure spreader for sale shreds before it spreads!

Manure Spreader, Horse Manure Spreader

Corrosion-Resistant 12-Gauge Steel

ABI manure spreaders are built with extremely thick 12 gauge corrosion-resistant COR-TEN steel construction. Unlike most compact manure spreaders, the ABI ATVs manure spreader is a long-term “one-time” investment with a fully welded box frame, using thicker steel than other spreaders for worry-free durability. COR-TEN steel may be exposed to the elements, even unfinished, and rust will not perforate it for decades. With COR-TEN steel, you get the longevity and strength required to build a world-class spreader without the unneeded additional expense and structural weakness of stainless steel. Just because this is a mini manure spreader for sale does not mean is uses cheap steel! Only the best materials are used.

Spreader Liner

Protective Box Liner (Standard)

The ABI compact manure spreader includes a box liner, no extra charge! The inside of the spreader body is coated with an epoxy box liner. The epoxy box liner adds an industrial seal to protect from the severe corrosive effects of urine-filled manure. Epoxies are used to protect underground sewage tanks, pipelines, and the hulls of barges in salt water.

Spreader, Flooring

Lifetime Poly-Lumber Flooring

The bottom flooring is constructed of extremely thick tongue-and-groove polyvinyl lumber that will never rot, rust, or need replacing. Even better yet, the tongue-and-groove construction prohibits the individual poly-boards from warping, preventing excessive wear or damage to the apron web. This is a premium maintenance-free flooring that will last and comes standard with a limited lifetime warranty on this mini manure spreader for sale.

atv manure spreaders - finish

Commercial-Grade Coating (PPG AUE-370)

All steel components are sand-blasted before painting to prime for perfect adhesion. A special commercial-grade coating (PPG AUE-370), a black gloss acrylic urethane paint twice as thick as Rust-Oleum, is applied. Unlike powder-coating, this paint is easy to repair and touch up, preventing moisture or urine from getting behind it, eliminating the possibility of rust forming under the finish layer.

Spreader Tires

Advanced Ground Drive System

Unlike many other spreaders, the ABI Ground Driven Manure Spreader for sale provides constant power to the apron chain and beater bars via an advanced ground drive system, even during tight turns on rough pastures. When looking at the spreader control levers, the right wheel drives the rear beaters system, while the left wheel drives the apron chain. However, both wheels work in unison, similar to a locking differential on a truck, to maximize traction and prevent the apron and beaters from running at incompatible speeds, preventing damage. The ratcheting hubs enable the wheels to move in reverse, without turning the apron or beaters, protecting moving parts from damage, preventing the chain from jumping sprockets, and stopping manure from being thrown onto the tow vehicle and operator! This system allows ABI ground driven manure spreaders to spread in almost any condition, even on frozen ground!

Spreader Jack

Swing-Away Jack w/Wheel Dolly

The swing-away jack with wheel dolly makes manually maneuvering the small compact manure spreader much more manageable, making quick work of connecting and disconnecting from a tow vehicle. It also enables the operator to manually push the mini manure spreader around a barn with a concrete floor.

Advantages of Small Manure Spreaders

ABI spreaders are fully-welded with COR-TEN steel to be tank-tough through and through. Our extremely thick COR-TEN steel provides tremendous longevity without the ridiculous expense of stainless steel. So yes, our spreaders aren’t shiny like your kitchen appliances for good reason: stainless steel is not as structurally sound as COR-TEN. Below we have detailed out why our spreaders are built to outlast the barn; and the competition.

Ground Driven Manure Spreaders, 25, 50, & 65 cu ft – Compact Manure Spreaders End Gate

Manual End Gate & Shield

The Manual End Gate closes off the back end of the compact manure spreader to prohibit manure from packing into the beaters during loading, preventing clogging while heaping for maximum loading. It also contains manure spillage while loading and during transport. The end gate is raised and lowered by hand and additionally serves to help shield the operator from flying manure or debris that rarely could be thrown forward when the spreader is nearly empty.

Ground Driven Manure Spreaders, 25, 50, & 65 cu ft – Compact Manure Spreaders Fines Pan

Pasture / Fines / Litter Pan

Ideal when spreading manure on pastures and paddocks, the pasture pan ensures all manure is spread by preventing small manure fines from falling off the back of the ATVs or small manure spreader. All atv manure spreaders will drop some manure in a trail directly behind the spreader. The fines pan will prevent this and ensures all manure is broadcast evenly on the ground. Also required if spreading exclusively small litter such as poultry. The pan has a release for easy cleaning and is replaceable. Pictured with the pan opened in the clean out position.

We have had our 25cf spreader for three years now. Not one single issue. Works great and we use it 3-4 times a week. Great company with people who will help in anyway needed. We are looking at upgrading to the 50cf to help with additional horses. Would not buy any other brand. This speader is built like a tank.Ê

Purchased a 65 cuft ground drive two years ago and I really appreciate how much easier barn cleanup is now. It is small enough to pull behind an XUV and drive straight through the barn. I can clean four stalls in half the time since i am shoveling directly into the spreader and not using a wheelbarrow. Plus there are fewer stable flies since manure is spread immediately and not piled up.ÊQuality is very good. After two years, there is no rust.

Extremely Happy. A great product! It’s heavy, doesn’t jam and the chain never comes off. I thought my first spreader, a Mill Creek, was good, but the ABI is far superior. I went from driving a sports car to driving luxury vehicle.

So handy to have! I love our little manure spreader. It is just the right size for four mules who have paddocks and pasture access. I am plesed with the high quality material and craftsmanship and has not given us any problems. Bought it on a special financing offer so it is paying its way as it gets paid off. It sure helps keep our place clean and keeps the fly population at a minimum.

Fine piece, well built. My wife and I purchased a 200 acre farm last year. We have a small stable business, 12 horses total. Obviously that comes with manure. I bought two items from ABI last year, one of which was the 50 cubic foot ground spreader. There are several advantages to having this type of spreader. One the somewhat compact size, fits perfectly in the barn aisle. Two, the size is perfect for towing behind an ATV or our compact tractor. Third, the size makes it easy to move by hand to adjust the tow bar for hook up. My wife found the use a breeze. The spreader is VERY well built versus it’s competators. It sits outside almost all year and has given us no problems, looks and operates like brand new. Just needs a little grease once in a while and a spray off with the hose. It spreads like a house on fire. I highly recommend ABI products. Good advice from the agents, well built products, quick delivery and excellent support throughout the entire process. We had a small problem with delivery due to the size of the product. The shippi

50 cubic ground driven spreader. Totally AWESOME! Had been hand wringing on what to do with the pile of manure that I would haul out with a two-wheel barrow to the pile and then pile higher with a skid loader. After reviewing several brands over two years, I settled on ABI. Customer service was incredible! WasnÕt pushy and actually followed through on call backs to see how things were going. After a year of back and forth phone calls , I bought the 50. Not cheap, but money well spent. Have a 30 horse Kubota I haul it with and made 27 trips of the initial pile the first weekend I got it. Well made and tough as nails. Would HIGHLY recommend it to any small farmer like myself.

Quality made in America. This is by far one of the best built pieces of equipment for use in hobby ranching. This makes cleaning the barn a pleasure rather than the chore it used to be. Applying our barn waste to a piece of land that was eroded to bare sand has grass returning after just 3 applications over a year and a half. The spreader leaves a perfect even covering of material in every pass. The variable feed control lets you decide how thick you want to apply the material. Highly recommend this to others.

I purchased the 25 GD Manure Spreader for our 15 cattle farm in 2016. The unit is well made and pulls easily behind my small 23 HP Kubota tractor. Had some trouble overloading the unit initially, but with right amount of Manure loaded it works great and really pulverizes the Manure. The grease fitting diagrams on the Spreader made it a lot easier to find the grease fittings locations. I would buy another or recommend it to a friend.

Built like a tank. I had a similar Mill Creek spreader that lasted 11 trouble free years of daily use. Was probably repairable but since I had a lot of underbelly component rust, I replaced it w the ABi Classic 50. The ABi is much heavier built. Since we wash the spreader out (including underneath) after each daily use, I expect it to last a long time. The 50 easily handles 6 stalls and works great w our Gator as propulsion. It has a multi-speed spread function that enables control of how fast the spreader empties. The spring that controls it broke after six months; in the idle position it caused contact w sprocket and chain anyway so we have not replaced it…defaults to slow empty w/o the spring but thatÕs how we use it anyway. Multi-speed emptying is a nice feature but ABi needs to engineer it better so it is more durable and doesnÕt cause that annoying ringing of sprocket contact w drive chain in travel position. A very nice spreader…I originally bought the ABi Elite spreader but very soon exchanged it for the Classic. DonÕt buy the Elite if itÕs still

Best for your $$$. We bought the 50 since the price difference to the 25 is a no brained. Absolutely love it! My 12 year old daughter uses it. The fabrication is superb.

Have 3 horses wo produce a, seemingly, endless supply of manure. This little spreader is perfect. I can pull it with my UTV, or tractor, does a good job breaking up and distributing the waste. In true fashion, it is a top notch ABI product.

The Best Manure Spreader! I purchased the 25cf Manure Spreader from ABI after being very satisfied with the previous purchase of the Arena Rascal Pro drag. This spreader has performed perfectly in daily use for over half a year now. I took the fines pan and gate options, and am completely satisfied that I have the best spreader available in the size I needed. I compared this spreader with the similar-sized-and-equipped Millcreek, and am daily even more convinced that I made the best selection. The ABI spreader with the options I took provide a three step shredding/spreading process, while the Millcreek’s process was only a two step. The Millcreek was even slightly more expensive. I am confident that this ABI spreader will be functioning above my expectations for many years to come.

Love my little spreader. Perfect for my 2 equines! I’ve had it for a year now and it’s trouble free. I pass Tractor Supply’s spreader on my way in to buy grain and marvel that anyone would spend their hard earned money on such a tin heap when ABI is on the market. Thank you!

Very difficult to get out of shipping crate. Not sure price is justified over the competition but I suppose time will tell. You can get 2 for the price of an ABI.

  20. Frank Barefield

I bought this spreader a year ago. We have 2 horses on a 1.5 acre pasture. We want to keep it green and maximize grazing area so manure management is critical. We collect manure daily, compost it, and spread compost about every 4 months. The 25 has been great. It spreads the composted manure evenly and efficiently. The ground drive works perfectly. This spreader is well worth the money.

Great Little Spreaders. We got our 25ft spreader this summer. It is exactly as advertised. …simple to use and spreads very efficiently. We couldn’t be more pleased. GREAT PRODUCT…GREAT PURCHASE!

Great manure spreader. So happy with this spreader! I’m really glad I went with the 50. I have three horses and this is a great size. I highly recommend this item.

  23. JD Glesmann

Hindsight being 20/20 I should have purchased the 50 at least. The 25 is solidly built, easy to operate, and churns manure like a hydro mulcher on the front end of a skid steer. I’ve towed it behind my M5700 Kubota tractor, my son’s Dodge 3500 truck, and my Kubota RTV 500. Filled to capacity using any of the vehicle to pull the spreader, it churns the manure and slings it out in less than a minute. I can’t say enough good about it and won’t say anything bad. ABI makes some rock solid equipment and I will continue to do business with them.

We purchased the model 50 earlier this year. The unit was packaged beautifully and was in perfect condition when I picked it up. Extremely easy to mount the tongue and was ready for use in less than 45 minutes. We have used it 2-3 times per week for 3 months and it works perfectly every time. Very happy with this purchase. Would highly recommend both the company and product!!

Love this. It works great and the manure I spread just melts into the earth. It chops it up well. I donÕt have the strength any more to push wheelbarrow into field to spread and with this spreader the manure does not smother grass. It was worth the investment.

Excellent, tough, well made spreader for my horse barn. Better than my previous other brands. Added protective Ôhorse guardÕ protective bar around beaters, never know around horses. Retactible stand attachment needs reinforcement at weld attachment – mine bent!

After reading a lot of reviews, I choose the ABI. When we unloaded it I knew it was a great spreader by its construction. Well after a year I decided to write the review. Simply put, Awesome. Advise, don’t by a spreader by its price tag, buy it for its quality and you want find a better built spreader than ABI.

Works very well for our small farm. Easy to load by shovel, easy to pull with small Ford tractor. I wish I had a larger farm and a front-end loader and I would get a larger spreader. We call ours our own politician because it spreads manure well.

This is a quality machine! It spreads very fine. My only regret is in not having equipment to pull a larger spreader. I would recommend this equipment to anyone looking for a spreader for a small operation.

Downsized and replaced large pto spreader. Very pleased with abi 50 bu ground drive spreader. Size is perfect to be pulled by atv and get around in small places. Plus it fits nicely in barn to load on daily cleaning. The quality is excellent

The toughest job ever. In a word, OUTSTANDING. Product: We have had a chance to give the manure spreader a serious workout on the toughest pile one could imagine. We have cleared outside pens having manure, hay and heavy moisture. The spreader does a fantastic job tearing this stuff up and dispersing it in the pasture. Support: The spreader arrived well protected on a pallet and with clear instructions for a few steps to finish getting it into working configuration. Calls to ABI are received and answered by knowledgeable people promptly. Great experience all around. You get what you pay for.

Love my ABI. Have had the 25 cu manure spreader for three years now and love it! We are on 5 acres with three adult horses and a yearling. It works great. It does need to get refilled often when spreading, which makes my husband wish I would have gotten a bigger one, but I like to use our 4 wheeler to pull it instead of a tractor.

Quality equipment. I’ve been using the 25 spreader for several months now on a daily basis and couldn’t be happier with the quality of workmanship and how well this machine does its job. I recommend this to anyone who wants to to add a quality piece of equipment to their operation at a very reasonable price. I compared the others on the market and they were inferior to this piece of equipment yet their prices were higher. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made

Great machine. We love our spreader. We have owned it for over a year. It works as hard as we do. We clean 15 to 20 stalls everyday and it has never missed a beat.

Awesome machine! Every year for the past 20 years I have composted the manure from 12 tons of hay, and 2 tons of straw bedding used through the winter, for 3-5 horses and now goats, putting some on the garden and unevenly spreading the rest by dumping it slowly from the tractor bucket. I will still have to compost what I clean out when there is deep snow on the ground, but when conditions are drivable I will be able to spread much of it without composting. I spread that pile Ñ not as huge since it was completely composted Ñ yesterday in a few hours. I donÕt have an ATV or spare tractor, so I spent more time unhooking and hooking back up to use the towing tractor for loading it, and opening and closing the gate to prevent goat escapees, than I did in spreading. It is so easy to attach and unhook Ñ the lightness of the front end makes it easy to nudge into place if you are a little off. The 50 holds 4 of my 24-hp tractor buckets with a little help from a rake to spread/fill it evenly. It is so simple and easy to use. Just move two

This was a very good experience. The people at ABI give you that “Wow” experience as well as a quality product. They make sure the customer is supplied with all the information they need to make the purchase and then follow it up with impeccable service. The old saying, ” you get what you pay for.” Well worth investing the money in a quality product and a quality company that backs the product. Great job Casey and great job abi!!

Awesome machine! I am new horse owner and I quickly learned that Shires produce a massive amount of manure. After searching online I stumbled on the ABI website and it seemed like the perfect solution. I called ABI and spoke to Pat, and after a brief conversation, he recommended the 50 cubic ft model. The spreader arrived a few days later and as soon as I saw it I could tell I made the right decision. This unit is super high quality and solidly built…almost felt bad getting it dirty! It performs flawlessly and is going to make my daily chores much more pleasant. Thank you Pat for your stellar customer service and professionalism!

I wanted to drop a line to say that my classic spreader arrived in perfect condition although I thought I would need the jaws of life to extricate it from the pallet. Apparently your shipping department is trying to keep pace with the high standards of quality as your manufacturing folks. I have 38 years manufacturing experience working with industrial equipment and I have to say your equipment is some of the best I have seen. Design, materials and construction are all top notch. In a world full of low quality imported crap it warmed my heart to see the superb American craftsmanship and pride in your equipment. After hours of fondling and admiring this show quality implement I was almost sad to use it for its intended purpose but after the first load was distributed I am super pleased with my purchase. Please let the folks at ABI know they have exceeded another customer’s expectations.

I have had my 25 bu. spreader for 5 years now. Originally purchased for four horses, but I am down to one now. In the 5 years I have NEVER had a problem with the spreader. To Laurie, who complained about getting it out of the crate and the fact that she could buy two other spreaders for what she paid for the ABI, I would say you probably would need to buy two. I had other spreaders and none compare in quality, functionality and service to ABI. I would buy again in a heart beat, but thanks to the quality, I will not have to do so.

We are very happy with our purchase. We looked at two other brands and the construction just doesn’t even compare to ABI manure spreaders. We bought the 50 and including all the freight costs we still saved money.

I was extremely impressed with ABI’s customer service and the sales rep that I worked with: Ryan Dunn. Initially, I was hesitant to talk with someone before even knowing the price range of the product. R.Dunn understood my concern and made sure I had all the info I needed before our phone conversation. I have a very tight schedule with the military and he was very accommodating. I was pleased that I felt like I was receiving true customer service versus talking to a pushy sales rep. I haven’t received my spreader yet, but I am sure that it will be every bit as great as R.Dunn explained. Great company, kind and knowledgeable sales rep, superior American made products! Don’t be shy to get a quote… these guys are awesome!

We bought the 50 ground drive. It is very well built and worth the extra money. Spreads evenly and beaks up large clumps. We have 9 horses, we sweep the pasture every other day and clean stalls everyday. We compost with a mixture of fertilizer then spread every 2 months. Makes great top dressing. We can spread a very thin layer with the adjustable feed on the A.B.I. I would purchase it again and would highly recommend it. Oh and the customer service is unbelievably good. After a year they even sent a hand written Thank you card asking if there was anything they could help me with. Buy USA

We purchased the ABI 50 Manure Spreader to support our Draft horse operation in Schellsburg, PA. Having seven draft horses produces a lot of Manure, and this spreader was a welcome addition to the farm. Before the purchase, we were offloading our Manure each week in a 4-yard dumpster. Now I can load the Spreader over four days and spread the manure over my pastures and our neighbor’s pastures on the fourth day.

This spreader does an excellent job of breaking up the horse apples into small pieces. This is highly necessary for the damp climate here in Pennsylvania to keep fly and parasite larvae under control.

What a terrific product. It was a breeze to assemble, and the operation was a piece of cake.
