#1) Innovative & Patented Design |
 |
|
#2) Drop Pin Hitch |
 |
-
The Infield Rascal® Jr. is equipped with a drop pin hitch for easy and safe connection and usage.
-
The benefit of the pin hitch is in it's safety. Unlike some hitch types, rough undulating terrain will NOT cause this hitch to become disconnected from the tow vehicle.
-
There is no guess work here. This hitch type is the most visual way to ensure a proper secure connection to the tow vehicle.
|
#3) Transport Wheels (Solid Rubber) |
 |
-
Transporting the Infield Rascal® Jr. from storage to work site is now a breeze, with no manhandling or muscle required. Simply lower the wheels with hand crank jack and drive to your work site. These wheels also enable easy turning and direction change anywhere you don't want to penetrate the ground.
-
On compacted ground the wheels also enable consistent travel to control how aggressively the Infield Rascal® Jr. penetrates the ground, simply lower the wheels to track on the ground for operation. This stabilizes the attachments and offers the operator much more control.
|
#4) Adjustable Profile Blade |
 |
-
The "Profile Blade" acts a cutting blade slicing below the surface at the depth desired. This slicing effect consistently loosens 100% of the skin material on every pass. This eliminates ridging that causes an erratic playing surface known to cause injuries.
-
Another amazing benefit of this blade is the ability to slice the root systems of weeds and grass to completely eliminate this growth from infields.
|
#5) Adjustable Ripping Teeth |
 |
-
In some extreme cases of renovation using the ripping teeth may be necessary to scarify or rip the infield skin loose for grading.
-
The ripping teeth are adjustable from 0" - 7" to loosen up most any dirt or gravel surface.
-
The large size and strength of these ripping teeth enable the operator great versatility to tackle a variety of demanding jobs.
-
The loosening depth of the rippers are independently adjustable from the frame. This enables the Infield Rascal Jr. to loosen the ground at the depth desired while preventing unwanted displacement and repacking of material.
-
Replaceable bolt on tips for reduced maintenance cost.
|
#6) Finish Rake (5 Foot Wide) |
 |
-
As material is loosened the back rake evenly redistributes it and pulverizes/breaks-up the clumps of material leaving a beautiful signature finish in all material types.
-
Using the top turn-knuckle the rake may be pitched downward to pull larger amounts of material into low spots.
-
This rake is made of 1/2" hardened steel for long life and is replaceable in sections.
|
#7) Ground Contact Adjustment (Rake & Profile Blade) |
 |
-
The top gold turn-knuckle on the Infield Rascal® Jr. enables the operator to adjust the ground contact angle of the rippers and back rake to achieve the desired affect for a variety of jobs.
-
The turn-knuckle turned all the way "IN" enables only the profile blade or rippers to contact the ground. The turn-knuckle turned all the way "OUT" enables only the back rake to contact the ground. The turn-knuckle in the center enables both profile blade or rippers and rake to contact the ground.
-
This adjustment also enable the rippers to be pitch at a 40 degree angle, which is ideal to penetrate hardened ground.
|
#8) Wheel Lift System Adjustment
|
 |
-
The wheel lift system is operated with the 2,000 lbs. crank jack located at the top of the Infield Rascal® Jr..
-
Use this jack to position the wheels in one of three operating positions. 1) Transport - Crank the wheels fully down for transport. This will offer about 3" of ground clearance. 2) Stabilize - Crank the wheels so they track on the ground while in operation. This will offer more control and stability.3) Aggressive - Crank the wheels all the way up with no ground contact. This applies full weight and pressure on the ground for maximum ground penetration.
|
#9) 6' x 3' Extreme Duty Drag Mat: (Optional) |
 |
-
Ideal to reset and level the infield skin ready for play. This is a flexible extreme duty rust resistant galvanized steel mesh drag mat featuring many industry exclusive benefits. The mat is 12" wider than the rake to ensure tow vehicle tire coverage.
-
Due to it's quality construction this drag mat weighs almost double the average mat. This additional weight is need to help reset the playing surface after using the profile blade or rippers to loosen the infield skin.
-
6 Gauge Rods: Replacing traditional smaller rods with our 6 gauge rods has created the strongest mats on the market which prevents mat distortion or frying at the edges.
-
Clinched Edges: Our unique clinched edge passes smoothly by bases, fence posts and other obstructions. This eliminates damage to equipment and mat breakage.
-
Rivet-Free Design: By eliminating rivets in our attachment drag bars our mats leave a smoother unscarred surface.
-
Drag U-Bar: The patent pending Rivet-Free U-Bar also means the mat is truly reversible and is far more durable.
|
Electric Actuator: (Optional) |
-
This industrial grade actuator has a mammoth lift capacity. This actuator lifts the Infield Rascal® Jr. for
transport and lowers to adjust the amount of
pressure the profile blades or rippers and rake have on the ground.
-
This option can be a time saver for infield that do not have enough room for the tow vehicle to turn around in without running into the turf. With the electric actuator simply lift the tool off the ground and make your turn. Then lower the tool down and continue grooming.
-
Includes all hardware needed to attach to a 12v
battery. (hook up to the vehicle battery requires
hard wiring by a qualified professional)

Quality Control System: Every employee signs their ID number to their work. If a correctable mistake is found the product is pulled off the line and taken back for correction. The employee that made the mistake is given a financial penalty and the person that found the mistake a financial reward. All this takes place before final inspection. A string of ID numbers is then placed on the final product so that if an issue is found during the products lifetime, it is easy to track back to who built the product, for corrections to be made. This ID system is equivalent to every employee, involved in building the product, signing their personal seal of approval on every product they build.
