The TR3™ Rake is the most versatile 3 point ground prep tractor tool on the market today; with thousands of satisfied owners throughout the world! The exclusive patented drag bar will auto level the ground while the operator drives. Due to the heavy weight and style of fixed scarifying teeth the TR3™ Rake easily breaks through hard pan and eliminates hard and soft spots for consistent depth. The foam filled gauge wheels help control the loosening depth and offset the natural undulation of the tractor. They also enable the operator to push backward for grading, ripping out vegetation and pushing debris as desired. The back finishing rake of the TR3™ pulverizes dirt clods and leaves behind the perfect finish or seedbed.
"Tank Tough" Frame:
The TR3™ Rake is built tank tough to power through the most demanding of jobs. From horse arenas, gravel driveways & commercial contractor applications, the TR3 is battle tested and shows up for work everyday. For most of our customers it never leaves the back of their tractor!
The back finish rake and wear plates on the leveling bar are three-quarter inch hardened steel for longer wear.
The stabilizing/gauge wheels are foam filled and the hardened steel scarifier tips are replaceable.
Adjustable Scarifiers:
Adjustable from 0" - 7" to enable the perfect loosening depth for a variety of equine discipline. Also enable the user to get to the bottom of most potholes.
Fixed scarifiers, not spring loaded, make breaking up hard pan soil or gravel a breeze.
Adjustable ground contact angle to achieve more or less aggressiveness.
Bolt On Scarifier Tips:
Easy to replace bolt on tips only $8 each!
The steel is hardened for longer wear.
Although conditions & uses vary 1 set of tips lasts many of our customers about a year! (Your results may vary.)
Reduces maintenance costs and lessens down time.
Auto Leveling Drag Bar:
No skill required to achieve a level grade.
The patented auto leveling drag bar will float to catch high areas and drops that material into lower areas automatically.
The blade may also be locked down to act like a box scraper for rough grading and spreading material.
The TR3™ Rake enables the operator to bring the arena back to level grade and keep it there with very little skill.
Foam Filled Stabilizing Wheel:
Real Wheels! Includes replaceable Volkswagen hubs, axles, and bearings to lower operating costs and minimize down town.
Prevents the TR3™ Rake from undulating with the tractor, keeping the scarifying teeth from digging any deeper than they are set.
Controls the depth of the loosening action.
Creates consistent level travel to eliminate wash boarding.
Eliminates gouging and stalling the tractor while pushing backwards by supporting the frame.
3/4" Hardened Steel Finish Rake:
Pulverizes and breaks up clumps of material and leaves a beautiful signature finish behind.
Made of 3/4" hardened steel for long life and are replaceable in 1' sections.
Enables the user to push backwards slicing through the ground like a knife to rip out vegetation or move material to fill washouts and other light land clearing jobs.
May be pivoted to apply pressure to compact and seal any material.
3-Point Hitch Connection:
Depending on the size of the unit; the TR3™ is compatible with CAT 0, 1, 2. (See sizing recommendations in the specs tab.)
Not all powder coating processes are created equal, but you can rest assured that the multi-step powder coating process used on ABI products is second to none. Proper material selection, roofed-storage, innovative cleaning & preparation, state-of-the-art equipment, and industry leading "trade-secret" techniques enable ABI to offer a true architectural grade powder coating on all products.
The benefits of this architectural grade powder coating includes better rust resistance, a fantastic finish and a longer service life.
UV inhibitors are applied to resist the damaging affects of the sun.
ABI products are manufactured in a 700,000 sq./ft. state-of-the-art facility employing hundreds of qualified U.S. workers.
Quality Control System: Every employee signs their ID number to their work. If a correctable mistake is found the product is pulled off the line and taken back for correction. The employee that made the mistake is given a financial penalty and the person that found the mistake a financial reward. All this takes place before final inspection. A string of ID numbers is then placed on the final product so that if an issue is found during the products lifetime, it is easy to track back to who built the product, for corrections to be made. This ID system is equivalent to every employee, involved in building the product, signing their personal seal of approval on every product they build.

ABI offers the most comprehensive suite of both standard and optional investment protection. The standard 1 year warranty and 30 day risk free trial are included with each product investment. The optional extended warranty increases coverage to a complete 5 years and offers additional bent and/or damaged frame replacement benefits. "Profiler" System:
For Horse Arenas Only - The "Profiler" works with the TR3 and slices parallel to the base material eliminating all ridging in a single pass; saving time and further protecting the longevity of the horse. The standard TR3 utilizes perpendicular scarifiers to power through all hard packed footing, however alone it may take multiple passes and varying drag patterns to eliminate ridging. The power of the TR3 combined with the finesse and accuracy of the "Profiler" option team up to set a new standard in professional arena footing management. >>> Go To Profiler Page
Laser Systems:
The laser system currently available is a laser transmitter with tripod and the detector with grade stick. This is a handheld manual system that is economical and can be used with any drag on the market. Simply setup the laser and walk the arena with the grade stick and detector. Mark the high & low spots with spray paint or other marking device. Then the tractor operator may begin grading. Mounted manual and fully automated laser systems will be available soon.
Hydraulic Top Link:
This option is a must for operators that will use the TR3 for land reclamation and landscaping applications. This cylinder takes the place of the traditional turn knuckle and gives the operator the ability to change the position of the TR3 without getting off the tractor and manually making adjustments.
Rail/Edge Blade:
The rail blade attaches by two bolts to the leveling blade. The shovel cuts into the built up material around the rail or wall of an arena, the lip of a driveway or infield lip and pulls the material into the leveling blade to be redistributed. This eliminates hours of back breaking work. Works great to push back grasses and weeds that begin to overgrow into gravel roads and ball diamonds.
Blade Teeth:
The blade teeth are used mostly in the landscaping industry and mount below the leveling blade. They extend 2 inches below the grade. The teeth allow loose sand to flow through as 2" and larger rocks and debris collect in the blade.
Drag Mats:
Extremely heavy duty commercial grade drag mats mount behind the TR3 & add the perfect finishing touch to a ball diamond or any surface the operator needs to finesse. No rivets to pop out and ruin the entire mat; these ends are clinched steel for extreme durability. Also works great to press seed into soil, drag over pastures/lawns to help breakup manure and aeration cores, & finish off a driveway or trail.
Profile Blades:
Profile blades temporarily replace the scarifiers and act as a cutting blade below the surface. They are used primarily for ball diamond infield grooming and trail maintenance. One of the amazing benefits of these blades is the ability to slice the root systems of weeds and grass to completely eliminate this growth from driveways, trails & infields!
Extra Long Scarifier Shanks:
The standard 9" scarifier shanks can be swapped out for 12" shanks; this enables the operator to rip 9" deep. This may be needed to prepare for some barrel racing events. Every discipline has varying requirements. Always know how deep the arena footing material is.
