Hi everyone Matt here. You know, Christmas is coming up. And one of our favorite things about Christmas here at ABI is, it’s all the stories. You’ve got the movies and the TV specials. And you’ve got the old stories. and you’ve got the books for the kids. And just, it’s fun to get together and tell the old stories. The stories that have been told for years. And then you’ve got all the new stories. And the family stories of Christmas past, and getting together with those people we haven’t seen all year long.
One of our favorite ABI Christmas stories actually involves a TR3 at the national finals rodeo. So this was, I mean this was probably about a decade ago now That we had a team out at the national finals rodeo, we were in the trade show booths set up. We had our tools there. And the gentleman came in the booth kind of flustered. And he said, “I’m so glad you’re here. Are you going to be here the rest of the week?”
“Well, yeah, we’ll be here all week long. Why do you ask – what do you need?”
He said, “Well, I bought my wife a TR3 for Christmas, and I really want to show it to her, so she knows what she’s going to get.”
“Oh, that’s, that’s fantastic. Yeah, stop by any time. We’d be happy to show off the TR3 to her.”
So unbeknownst to him, later that afternoon we had somebody run out and find the biggest bow they could find. I mean, not like a car commercial, Christmas bow, but like a big bow. And we put it on that TR3. And when the gentlemen came back with his wife the next day, there was the TR3 when she came around the corner. And there was his Christmas present to her. And she was beside herself. She was so happy that she got a new arena drag. He was so happy ’cause he gets a driveway grader. And they got to celebrate Christmas early by seeing their gift there in the trade show booth. And we got to celebrate Christmas with them. And it was a fun moment that we got to be part of someone’s Christmas story.
And it was a good reminder to us that we get to be a part of, you know, the work that you all get to do. It’s the daily tasks and the projects, day in and day out of cleaning out stalls. And getting the arena graded. And getting fields watered.
But we also get to be a part of the celebrations and the fun times as well. So whether or not you’ve ever considered an arena drag or a driveway grader or a manure spreader, a water trailer as a Christmas present. And even if we can’t fit a TR3 down the chimney or fit it under the tree. We are thrilled that we get to be a part of not just your everyday story, but your Christmas stories as well. So as you gather around with your, your friends and family and your loved ones. And you’re spending time together, telling stories, know that we here at ABI, we’re thinking of our favorite stories, working with all of you.
