ABI's chain harrow with 3-point lift is built to allow for heavy or light grooming of arenas, pastures, food plots, driveways, trails or lawns. The harrow mat is constructed of heavy duty 1/2" chain that is high carbon & heat treated with double teeth. Each tine is 4 inches long (1/2" thick) at its most aggressive state. The lift itself allows the operator to have complete control over the harrow and enables easy transporting between work locations. The harrow is reversible and can be flipped for 3 levels of aggressiveness. Level 1 is most passive for use on lawns or smoothing loose sand. Level 2 allows the tine to dig into the ground but also release under pressure. This is the most common position that has a combination or scarifying and smoothing. Level 3 forces the tines down into the ground for maximum scarifying. This is best used when heavy scarifying is needed to loosen the ground up to a 3" depth or to aggressively aerate a pasture before overseeding. Each mat is 4 feet long. Superior Craftsmanship/Manufacturing:
ABI products are manufactured in a 700,000 sq./ft. state-of-the-art facility employing hundreds of qualified U.S. workers. Quality Control System: Every employee signs their ID number to their work. If a correctable mistake is found the product is pulled off the line and taken back for correction. The employee that made the mistake is given a financial penalty and the person that found the mistake a financial reward. All this takes place before final inspection. A string of ID numbers is then placed on the final product so that if an issue is found during the products lifetime, it is easy to track back to who built the product, for corrections to be made. This ID system is equivalent to every employee, involved in building the product, signing their personal seal of approval on every product they build.
Easy 3-Point Connection:
If a 3-point attachment is not easy to connect and disconnect from a tractor, it will not be used as often. Unlike most competitors, ABI attachments are designed with ease of connection in mind. ABI attachments are designed with strong double lower arm connection ears that accepts the optional removable mounting hitch pin. This design enables quick and easy connection without tractor adjustment. (Cat 1) Many competitors use a low cost single ear with welded on pin that requires tractor adjustment that many find to be a hassle.
